Executive Creative Director

Lovingly referred to as the Creative Empress during her 25+ years in advertising, creative and branded direct response, Li’s agency experience includes Grey Advertising — and the bulk of her career spent as Senior Creative Officer for Harte Hanks Direct, Agency Services. 

She has strategized and executed creative in all channels, and provided creative analyses of each client’s current creative (as well as that of their competitors). Her past and present client list includes: Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Abbott, Nationwide, Escada, Merrill Lynch, US Bank, BMW, Mazda, IBM, CIT Bank, Zales, NewDay USA and Electrolux to name a few — with results that speak volumes.

Formerly a frequent speaker at the DMA and a client guest speaker, she has trained countless clients in Direct Response University sessions for both direct mail and email. Other popular sessions included: The Role of Brand and Brand Value in Direct Response Marketing and her Copy Roundtable: Best Practices for Branded Direct Response Creative.

Previously, she worked on the client side directing in-house and agency creative for the direct response group at American Express — and helped develop Tiffany & Co.’s best client and tabletop programs in New York. She also developed creative for Tiffany Gift Employee Recognition Programs for achievements, anniversaries and other employee milestones.


When she’s not working, she loves biking, dancing, singing and playing jazz piano.
